Commercial Tennis Court Construction

Tennis courts often complete commercial premises like community swimming pools and school grounds. Playing tennis is beneficial for the health of all ages, lowering the resting heart rate, increasing bone density, building muscle mass, and much more. You can be confident that completing your new commercial tennis court construction will more than pay off for your grounds. Teniseal/Parking Striping Corporation is here just for those needs and more.

Why Choose a Hard Court?

When choosing your type of tennis court construction, you have a few options: hard courts, grass courts, and clay courts. Clay courts are the least desirable, tending to be more slippery and result in bad bounces. Grass courts are the original tennis court, as tennis players originally played on grass. Wimbledon, one of the most prestigious and oldest tennis tournaments, is still held on a grass court. Unfortunately, these can be expensive and harder to maintain.

A hard court is the best option for any tennis player, from beginner to professional. Many professional matches are held on hard courts. This construction starts with a concrete or asphalt base, and has additional layers that create a desirable bounce and durability.

SPORTSFACEⓇ1

Teniseal offers the 100% Latex Acrylic Surfacing System called SPORTSFACE in two versions, 1 and 2. In the first version, the court consists of four layers.

  1. Filler Course: The first layer is the 100% Latex Acrylic that fills all irregularities in the asphalt and creates a completely smooth surface.
  2. Texture Course: This layer is the textured or toothed substance that covers the court.
  3. Surface Color: A heavy-bodied Latex Acrylic compound beautifully colors the surface, made to last.
  4. Finish: Lastly, latex acrylic lines accurately mark the court for a game.

SPORTSFACEⓇ2

The second version has five layers.

  1. Filler Course
  2. Resilient Course: This rubberized, heavily-fortified layer bolsters longevity.
  3. Texture Course
  4. Surface Color
  5. Finish
